We will not be disappointed with the Belgians. They always twist the traditional, familiar forms. It's no different with Belgian wheat. It's completely different from a German wheat beer. They like to add spices, even fruit puree. One of the most common spices is coriander and orange peel.
Just as a curiosity, before mankind started using hops to preserve beer, coriander was often used because of its strong antiseptic properties. If you're looking for a real fruity beer, this is your best bet.
