Calibration:
Calibrate before first use. The characteristic of the PH meter is linear, so it is enough to perform the calibration at two points. For calibration, we must use the calibration powder provided in the package. Dissolve the powder in the specified amount of water, then add the PH meter and set the PH value. After removing from the first liquid, set the PH meter in distilled/RO water so the electrode is clean before calibrating the second point. We repeat the measurement at the second point.
When is calibration necessary?

It is worth performing the calibration if you have not used the device for a long time or if a lot of time has passed since the last calibration.

Maintenance of the electrode:

Put the protective cap back on the PH tester immediately after use, without it the measuring electrode will easily dry out and the measurement will be inaccurate

If the electrode is dry, put it in distilled water for a few hours.
Calibration:

Turn on the PH tester.

Add it to the standard buffer solution you received

After the value is stable, press the "CAL" button for 5 seconds. The value on the display starts flashing. Wait until it stops flashing, it means the calibration is over

Before calibrating the second point, the electrode should be rinsed in distilled/RO water and wiped with a paper towel.

Repeat steps 2-4.
