The Pearl of Africa - as Uganda is often called - provides ideal conditions for growing vanilla. Uganda's Bourbon vanilla bean is one of the finest Vanilla Planifolia. It is extremely flavoursome, with a warm, creamy aroma reminiscent of figs and raisins. Ugandan vanilla beans have a higher than average vanillin content, making them perfect for desserts, chocolates or vanilla extract.
Uganda is one of the few regions that has the opportunity to harvest twice a year, so our product is always incredibly fresh.
