Brewing grains
Malt is an essential ingredient in brewing. Its quality and the production process are fundamental to the character of the beer.
One of its most important characteristics is the colour value (EBC or Lovibond), which gives the expected colour of our beer. The factors that most influence the quality during storage are temperature (<20°C) and humidity (<40%RH). If the above conditions are guaranteed, bagged malt will keep its quality for 2 years. It is advisable to use it in 2-3 months, as there is no measurable difference in the malt's texture until it is about half a year old.
We store our malt in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications to ensure the best quality.
The malts are always sent separately packed for each variety!
