The BJCP says exactly what to expect from this beer: "A deep reddish-copper colored, moderately strong, malty, complex Trappist ale with rich malty flavors, dark or dried fruit esters and light alcohol blended into a malty appearance that nevertheless finishes quite dry."

6.2 kg Viking Pilsner malt
300 g brown candy sugar
300g Caramel 300 malt
Hops (+ boiling time):
35 g Tettnanger hops - 60min
15 g Tettnanger hops - 20min
